What are pickled foods?
Pickling is a simple way to preserve food through fermentation. People in many parts of the world have been fermenting food for thousands of years. Fermented foods are full of beneficial bacteria. These foods improve digestion and have many other health benefits.

What will you learn in the workshop?
In this workshop, you will learn how to make fermented vegetable sauerkraut and brined pickles. We will make a batch of sauerkraut together for you to take home. This will help you get started fermenting your own food.
