Featured: Burnaby Farmers' Market is Back!

The Burnaby Farmers' Market began its 2012 season last month, returning to its original spot at City Hall after a stint last year at Burnaby Village Museum.

Location: North Parking Lot at Burnaby City Hall, Canada Way and Deer Lake Parkway (map)
Dates: May 5, 2012 to October 27, 2012
Hours: 9:00 am to 2:00 pm each Saturday

The market offers locally-grown, conventional and organic produce, jam, jelly, vinegar, salsa, sauces, baked goods, honey, maple syrup, tea, eggs, and meat products. Also for sale is pottery, woodwork, jewelery, and soap made by local artisans.

The market runs every Saturday to the end of October. Keep the Market 'green' by considering biking or taking transit and bringing your own shopping bags.


Events at the Market: 
There is a kids' play tent, a used book exchange, a games table, a sitting area with local newspapers, and live music.

Family Day Celebrations
Every third weekend the Market is open. Come and have some fun with the whole family!

Cooking CompetitionsFirst Market day of each month (except August, when it will be held on the second weekend)
